The crescent shape gently lifts the pelvis and tilts the hips forward, so the spine straightens naturally and the knees settle more easily toward the floor — a comfortable, stable seat for longer practice.
The Tree of Life
The Tree of Life is an ancient motif, appearing across many cultures with its spreading branches and deep roots. Tradition reads it as a symbol of life, growth and the linking of generations — an image of steady roots and branches reaching toward the light that suits a grounded, balanced seat.
Material & make
The cover is made from OCS-certified organic cotton, and the inner fill is natural buckwheat hulls. The hulls hold a supportive shape yet give a little, so the cushion settles under the body. Shown here in vivid green. Approximate size 33 × 13 cm.
How to use it
A natural choice for seated meditation, breathing practice and quiet moments. The crescent arc nestles in front of the thighs, letting the legs relax in a cross-legged seat.
Care & good to know
The cover closes with a zip or drawstring at the base, so the filling can be topped up or thinned at any time. Hand washing in cold water is recommended; remove the buckwheat filling before washing. Slight differences in shade and the living texture of the cotton are part of the handmade character, not a flaw.
Kept near a quiet corner, it stays within reach for the moments when there is time to settle inward.
