A floor cushion with the Flower of Life resting on its top – the raised, steady seat and the quiet presence of sacred geometry together prepare the space for practice.
The Flower of Life symbol
The Flower of Life is an ancient geometric pattern of evenly overlapping circles that appears in the art of many cultures. Tradition holds it as a symbol of the connection between life and the universe, a pattern of harmony and wholeness. On the cushion it becomes not only a seat but a calm visual centre.
Comfortable, adjustable seat
The cushion is filled with buckwheat hulls that mould to the body and offer support that is firm yet yielding. The height can be adjusted to taste: take out some filling for a lower seat, add more for a higher one. The raised seat tilts the pelvis forward and helps the spine lengthen naturally.
Material and size
The outer cover is cotton with a zip; the inner cover closes with a drawstring. It measures about 33 × 13 cm in a purple-and-silver palette. The deep violet tone carries an inward, settling mood.
How to use it
A natural fit for meditation, breath practice and quiet sitting. It belongs equally in a home meditation corner or a studio, and makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who sits with themselves regularly.
Care
The cover can be washed by hand in cold to lukewarm water, or in the machine at 30 °C. Because of the natural dyeing, the shade may vary a little from piece to piece.
