The crescent arc nestles in front of the thighs, lifting and tilting the pelvis so the spine lengthens and the knees settle more easily toward the floor.
Quiet simplicity
The sandy beige recalls the understated calm of undyed, natural materials. The crescent shape favours those for whom a gentle lift of the hips eases longer, comfortable sitting — patternless, it stays quietly in the background so attention can turn to the breath and presence.
Material & make
The cover is made from OCS-certified organic cotton, and the inner fill is natural buckwheat hulls. The hulls hold a supportive shape yet give a little, so the cushion settles under the body. Shown here in beige. Approximate size 37 × 17 × 13 cm.
How to use it
For seated meditation and breathing practice, especially where the crescent arc is more comfortable for cross-legged sitting. It nestles in front of the thighs so the legs can relax.
Care & good to know
The cover closes at the base, so the buckwheat fill can be topped up or thinned at any time. Hand washing in cold water is recommended, with the filling removed first. The living texture of the cotton and small differences in shade are part of its handmade character.
Kept near a quiet corner, it stays within reach for the moments when there is time to settle inward.
