The seven chakras
In the yoga and meditation tradition the chakras are an ancient system symbolising the body's energy centres; the seven main chakras are each marked by their own colour, from root to crown. Tradition reads the sequence as an image of balance and awareness — on the black ground the colourful symbols stand out, so the cushion is both reminder and decoration.
Material & make
The cover is made from OCS-certified organic cotton, and the inner fill is natural buckwheat hulls. The hulls hold a supportive shape yet give a little, so the cushion settles under the body. Shown here in black. Approximate size 33 × 17 cm.
How to use it
For seated meditation, breathing and focused practice. The dark ground and the colourful chakra row bring a vivid yet focused mood to a dedicated spot.
Care & good to know
The cover closes at the base, so the buckwheat fill can be topped up or thinned at any time. Hand washing in cold water is recommended, with the filling removed first. The living texture of the cotton and small differences in shade are part of its handmade character.
