The lotus plant motif
The lotus rises from the mud above the water and opens a clean flower – the whole plant, drawn with stem and leaf, shows this journey. Tradition knows it as a symbol of purity and spiritual unfolding. Against the anthracite, the pale line drawing is restrained yet expressive.
OCS-certified organic cotton, buckwheat filling
The cushion is made from OCS 100 certified organic cotton: the dyed outer cover is GOTS-certified organic cotton with a zip at the bottom, and the undyed inner cover closes with a drawstring. The filling is high-quality natural buckwheat hulls that mould to the body and give a seat that is firm yet yielding. The height can be adjusted to taste: less filling for a lower seat, more for a higher one.
How to use it
For meditation, yoga and quiet sitting. The dark, neutral colour suits any interior, and makes a thoughtful gift for those who practise. It measures about 33 × 17 cm.
Care
We recommend hand washing the cover in lukewarm water; machine washing at 30 °C is also possible. Because of the natural dyeing the shade may vary slightly from piece to piece, and the natural material makes each one a little unique.
