This version arrives in a glass cup without a lid, so the wax and the stone are visible on the shelf. The glass is thick-walled and stable, safely containing the flame. When the candle is not burning, it is best to store it in a place protected from dust, so the surface of the wax stays clean.
Burn time and proper use
The candle burns for approximately 20 hours, which covers many evening occasions. During one lighting, let it burn for at least two hours so the wax surface melts evenly and no deep hole forms around the wick. Before each lighting, trim the wick to about half a centimetre.
Safety information
Place the candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface, away from curtains and flammable items. Never leave it burning unattended, and keep it out of the reach of children and pets. Be sure to extinguish it before going to bed or leaving the room. To avoid overheating, do not burn the last two centimetres of wax.
