We do not recommend cleaning it in a dishwasher, as both the mango wood tray and the small bowls are sensitive to prolonged water exposure and high temperatures. A soft, lightly damp cloth is enough for cleaning. For heavy grease, a little warm water and a mild dish detergent solve the problem; wipe it dry immediately afterwards.

Can I store wet or oily food in it for longer?

The mango wood and ceramic handle wet and oily food well for a short time (during serving, over a few hours). For longer storage we do not recommend it — especially oily or acidic contents — as the wood structure may absorb moisture, which can damage it over time. For storage we recommend a sealable container; the tray and bowls are intended for serving.

The flower pattern is hand-painted by Indian artisans inside the small bowls, so every set differs slightly in colour shades and in the small details of the motif. This is not a flaw but a natural feature of hand-painting — every set you receive carries its own unique character, and this is what makes the use of it more exciting.
