An elongated wooden tray on the kitchen counter or the coffee table, fitted with three separate bowls — and suddenly you have a small ceremony piece for snacking, an aperitif supper or a slow morning coffee. The tray gives you enough room to serve three different bites — nuts, chocolates, pieces of fruit — at the same time.
Shape and details
The tray and the three little bowls that sit inside it are made of mango wood with a hand-finished surface. The blue-striped enamelled lining inside the bowls offers a warm contrast to the wood grain — lively yet dignified. Each bowl lifts out separately, so the tray adapts to different occasions.
How you can use it
Three separate bowls let you serve salty, sweet and tangy nibbles together for an evening. For an aperitif supper, line up olives, peanuts and salted dried fruit in the three compartments. With morning coffee, fill them with muesli, yoghurt and fruit. It also looks lovely empty as a table centrepiece — the blue stripes and the wood make a quiet composition on their own.
Care
Wash the bowls by hand in warm water with a little washing-up liquid, then dry them straight away. Do not use a dishwasher; the wood may warp and the enamel may dull. Wipe the wooden tray frame with a damp cloth only — never hold it under running water. Once a year, a drop of natural wood oil helps preserve the timber.
