Using the box
The box can serve several purposes at the same time. Its interior is sized for traditional tarot card decks, so you can store the deck safely. It is equally suitable for jewellery, essential oil vials, letters, photographs or smaller mementos. The well-closing lid prevents dust from entering.
The Lotus motif on the lid
The Lotus flower laser-engraved on the lid is a traditional symbol in India and Southeast Asia. In many cultures it represents purity, growth and renewal. The deep engraving is clearly visible on the dark mango wood and offers a pleasant, well-readable drawing. The lines are fine yet confident.
The role of the amethyst stone
Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz. Several polished pieces are placed on the lid of the box, with shades ranging from soft lilac to deeper plum. The exact colour and size vary per piece, so you always receive a unique box.
Material, fit, craftsmanship
Mango wood is a hard, durable timber. The sides of the box are polished and the corners fit precisely. The lid can be hinged or removable, depending on the version. Modern laser technology cuts the engraving, while the stones are set by hand. Every box shows a slightly different face.
Preservation and care for you
Keep the box in a dry, cool place. Wipe it weekly with a dry, soft cloth. Brush dust out of the engravings with a fine brush. If needed, you can treat the hinge with a little beeswax. Do not wash with water or chemicals. Amethyst stones may fade under long-lasting sunlight, so a sunny window is not recommended.
