A small table that gathers calm around itself
You are looking at a piece of furniture that is more than decoration: this mango wood small table with a White Flower of Life pattern can become the centre of an intimate corner in your home. The solid Indian mango wood top is framed by a finely carved edge and a hand painted geometric design, so it organises the space around it in any room.
Mango wood that speaks under your hand
In India mango wood is a symbol of long life and abundance. It is harvested at the end of the tree's fruit bearing cycle, so it is a responsible natural material. You receive a breathing, naturally finished table: every piece shows its own grain and matures more beautifully with the years. The surface is hand sanded, smooth to the touch and protected with a water resistant wax layer.
The Flower of Life that focuses attention
The white Flower of Life on the round top is an ancient geometric sign, built from overlapping circles around a centre. Many people use it as a focus for meditation because the eye settles on it easily and the breath slows down. The white paint gently lifts the grain, the pattern is quiet rather than loud.
How to place it in your home
The table can serve you in many ways: in a meditation corner under a candle, an oil burner and a prayer rope; in the living room next to a reading lamp as a book holder; in the bedroom as a small bedside table for a glass of water and a flower. Its low round shape also works well if you like to sit on the floor and sip tea. We recommend it for dry, heated indoor spaces, away from direct water.
Care and lasting joy
Wipe the surface with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth, do not use harsh detergents. Once a year a beeswax based furniture care will return the silky sheen of the wood. Small variations in the painted pattern are natural and give each piece its character. You receive a home element that will still carry the marks of craftsmanship after decades.
