How the cone holder works
This mango wood holder is made for cone-shaped incense. Placing the cone in the central recess, the smoke flows downward like a small waterfall. You can observe this effect especially nicely in the evening under soft light, and the sight itself is calming. The rim of the holder catches the dripping ash.
The origin of the Flower of Life motif
A laser-engraved Flower of Life pattern is visible on top of the holder. This geometric form appears in several ancient cultures, a system of interconnected circles. The pattern is engraved finely and deeply, giving a beautiful contrast with the dark mango wood grain.
The role of tourmaline and pyrite
Two minerals are placed on the holder. Black tourmaline is traditionally considered a protective stone, while pyrite is a sparkling, golden-metallic natural mineral that many enjoy as decoration. The size and exact shade of the stones may vary per piece, as they are natural materials.
Where we recommend the holder
The smoke of cone incense is striking, so place the holder in a visible spot, in the middle of a table, on a window sill or in a meditation corner. It works particularly well in a draught-free room, where the slowly descending smoke can flow undisturbed. Avoid drafty places so the smoke can move freely.
Maintenance and lifespan
Wipe the holder with a dry cloth. After the cones have burnt out, remove the cooled ash with a soft cloth. The small recesses of the engraved pattern can be cleaned of dust with a fine brush. Do not treat the wood with water or cleaning agents. You can use it for years if you protect it from moisture and direct sunlight.
