An open, standing altar for your home
This altar is made of mango wood and arrives with a whitewash, softly faded finish. It is about 30 cm tall, and the inner space accommodates statues up to 20 cm in height. It looks at home on top of a cabinet, on a shelf or on a small standalone side table, without overpowering its surroundings.
A place for offerings and devotional objects
Inside the altar you can place a statue, a candle, an offering or another devotional object that is important to you. The open design lets the contents be seen from any direction, so it can become the centre of a meditation corner where attention naturally turns toward what is inside.
Natural material, hand-applied finish
The grain of mango wood and the hand-applied whitewash paint produce a different pattern on every piece. No two altars look exactly the same, so your example arrives with a unique character. It preserves the warmth of natural wood and the calm of the faded white finish for years to come.
Combine with other objects
The altar stands well on its own, but together with a candle holder, an incense burner, a flower or a small mineral, it can form a complete, cared-for meditation or devotional corner. The white finish harmonises well with most interior styles and colours.
A few notes on use
Place it on a flat, level surface, away from direct sunlight and heating, so that the wood does not dry out too much. Use only small candles, set at a safe distance inside the altar, and never leave an open flame unattended.
