Maritse, companion of travellers
Maritse is the goddess of light in the Tibetan tradition, to whom travellers turn for protection. The mandala dedicated to her is also called Traveller's Friend, and many people carry one in their bag or in their car. The talisman is made of paper and silk, weighs only five grams, and measures 2,5 x 2,5 centimetres. Because it is made of delicate materials, avoid long exposure to moisture and do not wash it.
