Rudraksha & Rose Quartz Mala – 108-Bead Prayer Strand with a pink tassel

Rudraksha & Rose Quartz mala, a 108-bead prayer strand for counting mantras and deepening meditation, about 31 cm long.

An alternating row of seasoned rudraksha seeds and soft-pink rose quartz, finished with a pink tassel – the seed's earthiness and the stone's tenderness in one strand.

Rudraksha and rose quartz

Rudraksha seeds come from the tree of the same name (Elaeocarpus ganitrus) and are known as the “tears of Rudra (Shiva)”; they have been a classic mala material for centuries. Rose quartz is the soft-pink variety of quartz, regarded by tradition as the stone of love and the heart. Together the two pair earthy warmth with tenderness. These are traditional ideas, not medical claims.

The 108-bead mala

A mala is the prayer strand of the Hindu and Buddhist traditions, originally used to count mantras in meditation. A larger guru bead closes the 108 beads, standing for wisdom, while the small cylinder above it represents emptiness. The beads pass one by one between the fingers while attention rests on the meaning and vibration of the words.

How to use it

Hold the mala in your hand during meditation or mantra recitation and move from bead to bead; through the day it can be worn wrapped around the wrist.

Material and craft

Made of natural rudraksha seeds and soft-pink rose quartz beads. A 108-bead strand, about 31 cm long. Being a natural material, each piece is unique: shade and pattern may vary slightly.

Good to know

Keep it dry, wipe it with a soft cloth, and avoid harsh chemicals. The meaning attached to it comes from tradition and is not a medical effect.
