Mala – rudraksha / amethyst

Rudraksha and amethyst mala necklace, hand-strung with a tassel. Long strand, worn around the neck or wound around the wrist.

The meeting of rudraksha seed and amethyst

You will find here a long mala necklace where brown rudraksha seeds and purple amethyst gemstone beads alternate. A mala is traditionally a long strand, worn either around the neck or wound several times around the wrist. At the end a small tassel rests.

How you can wear it day to day

Because of its great length it slips around the neck with a single loop. If you prefer it shorter, you can wind it two or three times around the wrist. As an accessory it goes very well with everyday wear, natural linen or cotton clothing.

Materials and hand stringing

The rudraksha seeds are naturally brown, each with a slightly different pattern. The purple shade of amethyst beads is also natural, so small differences appear between the stones. The stringing is done on a strong cord; the tassel is made of silk-like thread.

Storage and care

Store it in a soft pouch or jewellery box so the stringing does not become tangled. Do not let it remain in contact with water for long, as the seeds may discolour. Do not spray perfume or chemicals directly on it. From time to time you may gently brush it with a soft brush.

For whom it can be a lovely gift

We recommend it to you if you like natural materials, wood and gemstone together. It is a kind gift for a friend interested in meditation, yoga, or simply a nature-loving acquaintance. Placed in a gift box, it suits festive occasions too. The finger-feel of the long strand pleasantly guides the hand across the seeds; many people enjoy holding it in their hand during evening rest beside a book for exactly this reason.
