Mala in Moss Agate, Green Aventurine, Lepidolite and Sunstone – Mandala Pendant

Traditional mala in four stones – moss agate, green aventurine, lepidolite and sunstone – with a mandala pendant. 54 cm, for meditation and wear alike.

Earthy greens, soft lilac and warm orange alternate along the 54 cm strand, with a mandala pendant at the bottom: this mala is a lovely companion for meditation and everyday wear alike. A traditional mala is a strand used to count the rhythm of breath or meditation.

The four stones

Moss agate is a translucent chalcedony with green, moss-like inclusions; tradition knows it as a stone of connection to nature and grounding. Green aventurine is a fine-grained quartz with a softly shimmering green shade, spoken of as a stone of abundance and new opportunities. Lepidolite is a soft, lilac-pink mica mineral, known as a stone of relaxation and emotional calm. Sunstone is a warm, shimmering orange feldspar, a stone of joy. These are traditions, not medical promises.

The mandala and how to use it

The mandala is a concentric pattern arranged around a centre, a symbol of wholeness and the inner centre; it is used as a focus for meditation. Many turn the mala's beads with a finger to count breaths or a quiet mantra. Worn as a long necklace it is a relaxed, spirited piece.

Care

Wipe it with a soft cloth and protect it from prolonged moisture and chemicals. Lepidolite is a soft stone, so protect it from knocks. Each piece is unique: the shade and pattern of the stones vary a little.
