A bracelet that carries the stone's natural banding on the wrist. Its 21 pink zebra jasper beads, strung on an elastic cord, slip on easily, and each one brings its own unique pattern.
About pink zebra jasper
Jasper is a dense, fine-grained variety of quartz; pink zebra jasper is marked by darker bands running across a soft pink ground. Tradition knows it as a stone of contentment, compassion and love, one that encourages us to look beneath the surface and to see another person's true nature in a loving light. These qualities belong to the tradition of crystal lore, not to medical fact.
What is a mala?
A mala is originally a Hindu and Buddhist tool for prayer and meditation, used to count the repetition of mantras. A mantra is a sequence of words — often Sanskrit — traditionally repeated 108 times; as it is repeated, the attention rests on the meaning and vibration of the words, thoughts settle and the body relaxes. This 21-bead bracelet is the smaller sibling of the full mala, and today many people simply wear it as jewellery.
Wearing and good to know
The elastic cord slips over a range of wrist sizes (the bead loop is around 6.5 cm across). As a natural mineral, each piece is unique: the size, tone and banding may vary a little. Wipe it clean with a soft cloth, and protect it from harsh chemicals and prolonged moisture.
