Lotus Incense Burner in Copper Colour – 7.8 x 6.9 x 6.9 cm

Lotus-shaped, copper-coloured zinc-alloy incense burner with Tibetan auspicious symbols, for both stick and cone incense.

The 7.8 x 6.9 x 6.9 cm lotus-shaped holder

This compact, lotus-shaped incense burner was made in China, of zinc alloy with a copper-coloured surface. The top lid is decorated with the eight Tibetan auspicious symbols (Ashtamangala), and the relief details are exceptionally fine. The elegant, rounded, flower-like shape works particularly well on a shelf or in a meditation corner.

What you can use it for

The holder is suitable for burning both stick and cone incense. The lid can be removed during use so that the smoke can escape freely, then placed back when not in use. Many of our customers pair it with our bag of sand (product no. 10118): stuck in the sand, the stick is even more stable, and a cone burns more evenly.

The meaning of the eight auspicious symbols

In Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the eight auspicious symbols (Ashtamangala) comprise: the precious parasol, the pair of golden fish, the treasure vase, the lotus, the right-coiled conch, the glorious knot, the victory banner and the wheel. Together these symbols represent wholeness, the fullness of blessing. If you are interested in Tibetan symbolism, this holder offers a visually rich experience – it is not merely a functional tool, but also a beautiful object.

About the zinc-alloy material

The body is made of zinc alloy, a non-toxic, easy-to-clean and recyclable metal. The 131 g weight keeps the holder steady relative to its compact size. The copper colour is provided by a surface coating that is durable when fired at high temperature.

Placement, safety and cleaning

Place it on a heat-resistant surface, keeping a 30 cm safety distance from curtains, paper and flammable materials. During use the lid warms slightly, so when removing it, use a kitchen cloth or wait for it to cool. We recommend a soft dry cloth for cleaning; avoid strong chemicals, as these may fade the copper-coloured coating. Accumulated ash can simply be tipped out of the holder.
