A small candle holder evoking the petals of a lotus flower, in sparkling crystal glass. At 3 × 8 cm, this piece is made specifically for slim dinner candles, and brings a clean yet festive mood to the table.
The lotus symbol
The lotus is the pure flower that rises from the mud above the water – a recurring motif in Eastern art and religion. In tradition it is held to be a symbol of purity and spiritual unfolding: the image of rising from obscurity towards the light. The soft glow of a lit candle evokes this meaning especially beautifully.
Use and tip
The holder is made for slim dinner candles. It looks lovely on a table, a festive setting or in a meditation corner. It is best placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface, and the flame should not be left unattended. The cut surface of the crystal glass breaks the light, so the candle's flame scatters in small, sparkling points.
Good to know
Made of crystal glass, it needs gentle hand washing. After the candle burns out, it is best to let the holder cool before handling it.
