This Leo dish is made of mango wood. It is round, 10 cm across and 2.5 cm high, with a glossy lacquered inside. Tiny gold dots line the dark blue rim, and the white centre shows a gold lion's head with a big curly mane. A small hole in the middle of the lion's face holds an incense stick. A ring of constellations runs around it. The wood grain varies slightly, so your dish will not look exactly like the photo. Made in India; you receive one dish.
The sign of the Sun
Astrology links Leo to the Sun. It is a fire sign, running roughly from 23 July to 22 August, the hottest weeks of summer.
Leos are said to be generous and warm-hearted. They enjoy being at the centre of a gathering and take pride in what they have achieved.
Where you see it every day
Put it on your dressing table or the hall chest of drawers and the drawing is always in view. When you get home, your ring and earrings go in, and in the morning they are waiting for you. A coiled bead bracelet or two fit in as well.
An incense stick pushed into the hole stands upright. Stay in the room while it burns, place the dish on a heat-proof surface and air the room afterwards. Incense is not included, so choose a scent separately.
For a late July or August birthday
A Leo friend celebrating in midsummer will see their own sign on this dish and use it every day. It comes in all twelve signs, so you can pick one for each birthday in the family.
