The compostable PLA cold drink cup is made from renewable, plant-based (corn) PLA and is suitable for industrial composting. Its 340 ml (12 oz) capacity and 96 mm diameter make it a good choice for cold drinks, desserts and salads alike.
What it is for
For serving cold drinks, yogurt, granola, raw vegetables and dips. A combined lid fits the 96-series cold drink cups. It can be used to present all kinds of combinations attractively.
Important: cold drinks only
The cup is for cold drinks and food below 40 °C only. PLA is a heat-sensitive material: it can deform with heat and change its shape and appearance. Do not use it in a conventional or microwave oven, and do not fill it with food or drink warmer than 40 °C. Store it away from heat and direct sunlight.
Marking
The product is marked with a pictogram in line with the SUP (Single-Use Plastics) directive. The directive requires a 'made of plastic' marking, even though the raw material is of plant origin, corn.
