White musk is not the classic animal-derived musk; it is a plant-based fragrance essence that recalls the warmth and softness of skin. What 100% soy wax gives you
Soy wax is a plant-based material from a renewable source. It burns more cleanly with less soot than paraffin, so its air is friendlier to those who are sensitive to fragrances. An 80 gram size gives around 20 hours of burn time, which corresponds to roughly 5-6 evening sessions.
The details of the apothecary jar
The transparent glass has a classic apothecary shape of about 7 cm in diameter and 6.5 cm in height. It fits easily on a bedside table, a dressing table or a bathroom shelf. The wick is made from organically grown cotton and does not produce soot while burning. The wax melts evenly and the glass walls stay nicely transparent.
How to use the candle safely
At the first lighting, let it burn for at least one hour so that the wax melts across the whole surface – this prevents tunnelling. Burn it for a maximum of 4 hours at a time. Before each lighting, trim the wick to 1 cm – this burns more cleanly and produces less soot. Stop using the candle when 1.3 cm of wax remains at the bottom. Keep it out of reach of children and pets, and never let it burn unattended.
