Cinnamon is the warmth of festive pastries, mulled wine and the Christmas kitchen. It is a sweet-spicy, homely scent that for many people brings back childhood Christmases. Orange, in contrast, offers a refreshing, fruity character: its sun-like, cheerful note softens the seriousness of cinnamon. Together they bring a balanced, cheerful winter fragrance into the home.
Why we choose soy wax
100% soy wax is a plant-based, renewable raw material. It burns more cleanly, produces less soot and generally offers a longer burn time at the same size. An 80 gram candle gives around 20 hours of burn time – which corresponds to roughly 5-6 evening sessions. The wick is made from organically grown cotton.
The details of the apothecary jar
The transparent glass has a classic apothecary shape, around 7 cm in diameter and 6.5 cm in height. Its elegant appearance looks good anywhere: on a coffee table, dining table, kitchen counter or next to the Christmas tree. The glass stays nicely transparent towards the end, and after final use you can reuse the empty bottle as a small holder – for storing toothpicks or a tealight.
How to use it safely
At the first lighting, let it burn for at least one hour. Maximum of 4 hours at a time. Trim the wick to 1 cm before each lighting – this burns more cleanly. Stop using the candle when 1.3 cm of wax remains. Keep it out of reach of children and pets, and never let it burn unattended. Do not place it near a Christmas tree, curtains or other flammable materials.
