How a reed diffuser works
The fragrance liquid in the bottle is absorbed by the rattan reeds and then carried into the air. You have nothing to do – no lighting, no supervision. The scent comes out on its own into the room. In an average sized room of 15 to 20 square metres, a 100 ml bottle gives a pleasant sandalwood mood for around 6 to 10 weeks.
The character of sandalwood
Sandalwood is a mature, deep fragrance. It is not sweet and not floral. It has a warm, woody, lightly spicy character that suits the autumn-winter season, the study, the office or a calm living room. It is a more serious, classic scent that is particularly loved by many of our male customers.
Adjusting the intensity of the fragrance
The number of reeds determines the intensity. For a small room 3-4 reeds are enough; for a larger space you can use 6-8 reeds. Turn the reeds every two or three days – this brings a fresh fragrance surface to the top and gives a stronger scent for a few hours. If you prefer a milder effect, remove a few.
Where sandalwood suits best
In the study, the library or the home office: the serious, mature character suits concentration and mental work. In the living room for evening relaxation: while sharing a glass of wine after dinner, during conversation or while reading a book. It is also a good choice for a guest room if you are expecting a male guest, because it is not floral or sweetish.
