Lavender, Mint & Chamomile Massage and Bath Oil, 300 ml

Massage and bath oil with lavender, mint and Roman chamomile in grapeseed oil. Floral, fresh scent, 300 ml pump bottle, made in England.

Grapeseed oil with lavender, mint and Roman chamomile essential oils. The blend is meant for massage and for the bath. It comes in a 300 ml amber pump bottle, 18 cm tall and 6 cm across. Made in England.

Chamomile that smells of apples

The name chamomile comes from the Greek for “earth apple”, because the flower has a faint apple scent. This oil contains Roman chamomile, which smells sweeter and fruitier than the chamomile you know from tea. Roman chamomile has small white-petalled flowers that look like daisies. The plant itself is low and creeping; in England it was once planted as a lawn, because it gives off its scent when walked on. Alongside it, lavender adds a floral note and mint a fresh one. According to the ingredient list, the mint oil comes from corn mint.

In the bath or for a massage

For a bath, pump a few measures into the filled tub and swirl them into the water. For a massage, one or two measures are enough; warm the oil between your palms and spread it slowly over the back or shoulders. The pump is easy to press even with oily hands, so there is no cap to unscrew. As you only need one or two measures at a time, 300 ml lasts for many baths and massages.

If you have sensitive skin

Essential oils contain natural scent compounds such as linalool and limonene. You will find the full list on the product page. Before the first use, put a little oil on the inside of your elbow and wait a day. Keep it away from your eyes, and get out of the bath carefully, as it will be slippery. Store the bottle somewhere cool and out of sunlight.
