A large gift box in pale cream cardboard. Assembled, it is 28 cm wide, 12.5 cm deep and 26 cm high. The two side panels meet at the top by a handle cut into the board, so you can carry it by hand. You get one box, made in China.
A festive parcel in cream
Cream is light without being a glaring white. Finished with a pastel ribbon, a sprig of dried lavender or a piece of lace, it looks right at a wedding or a christening. A godparents' gift, such as a folded baby blanket and a small soft toy, can go inside.
Visiting a new baby, a folded muslin cloth, a pair of baby socks and a card for the parents are plenty.
Wrapping a birthday present, you could set a scented candle, a hand cream and a small notebook side by side. The base is 28 × 12.5 cm and the box narrows upwards, so put the larger, heavier piece at the bottom.
It comes opened out
The box arrives flat and folds up in a few moves. Lay it inside up, fold up both handle panels, open the side folds and line up the handles. No glue is needed.
Nothing locks the top: the two side panels just meet at the handle. A ribbon through the handle holes holds it together, and for posting it should go inside a larger carton. The box weighs 310 g.
If you are making parcels for several guests or relatives, order as many as you have gifts, because the box is sold singly. It also comes in a 20 × 10 × 20 cm size in cream, for smaller thank-you gifts for guests.
