Large decorative bucket in white-scrubbed albesia wood
A substantial yet friendly decor piece in hand-finished albesia wood — 45 cm across and 32 cm tall. The exterior is scrubbed white: not a dense paint, but a softly aged, semi-translucent finish that lets the natural grain come through. Each bucket is made by hand in Indonesia, so minor variations in the finish and tool marks are part of the character.
Dimensions and material
45 cm diameter, 32 cm tall, 1.55 kg. Albesia is a light but sturdy tropical timber that works well for this kind of decor object — it holds paint beautifully, keeps its shape, and shows off hand-work marks without looking rough.
How to use it at home or in-store
Use the bucket as a centrepiece for dried flowers, wheat stalks or pine branches; set it by an entrance to gather throws, baskets or slippers; or place it in a shop window to stack soaps, candles or textiles in a rustic or Scandinavian display. For a fresh bouquet, insert a separate waterproof liner and keep water off the wood itself.
