Three drums in one instrument
Despite its compact size, the La Ola Drum offers a remarkably varied sound: it combines the warmth of congas, a pinch of bongos and the rich, deep tone of a cajon. With a single instrument you can cover a wide range of sounds - at home, in a singing circle or on stage.
Design inspired by the Boombakini
The shape of the instrument was inspired by the Boombakini created by Fellé Vega from the Dominican Republic. The La Ola Drum uses multiple resonance chambers and several playing surfaces, so depending on where you strike it, you get a different tone. The playing surface is made of birch, the resonance box of 8 layers of birch, which gives the drum its durability and balanced sound. The instrument is made in Germany.
Comfortable playing on the thighs
You can play the La Ola Drum comfortably resting on your thighs - a thigh belt is included. No stand or special seat is needed: sit down, place it on your lap and start playing. It measures 67 × 26 × 24.5 cm and weighs 6.7 kg, so it is easy to handle and to carry in the included comfortable bag.
