Rhythm accompaniment on your shoelace
This tiny German-made instrument may be the simplest way to add rhythm with your foot while you play. No mounting or stand is needed: you simply slide the KRIX under your shoelace, hook it in, and you are ready to go. It suits all shoe sizes, and putting it on takes just a few seconds.
A jingle sound with every step
The instrument carries two pairs of stainless steel jingles - four in total. When you tap or stomp the beat with your foot, the jingles respond with a bright, chiming sound, much like a tambourine accompanying a song. Both hands stay free for the guitar, the cajon or singing, while your foot keeps the pulse.
Small, light, always at hand
The KRIX is just 16 cm long and weighs barely 40 grams, so you hardly notice wearing it. It fits in the pocket of a guitar case or a coat, ready whenever a song calls for a subtle rhythm accompaniment.
Who is it made for?
Street musicians and singer-guitarists performing as a one-person band; music teachers who teach rhythm in a playful way; and anyone who likes to accompany a sing-along. Beginners are welcome too: there is nothing to get wrong - the natural movement of your foot makes the sound.
