This journal has a natural-looking cork cover with a brass leaf decoration. Alongside the paper pages it has an LCD writing pad for quick notes. It measures 14 × 21 cm, is 2 cm thick and weighs about 270 g.
A cork cover
The cork cover is the natural-looking one in the series; the other versions come in red, black, brown, orange or green. If you like the colours of wood, linen and cork, this is the journal for you. Together, the brass leaf and the cork give a quiet, natural look.
A reading diary with quick notes
If you read a lot, the paper pages can hold your favourite lines and the titles of books you still want to read. You can also note who lent you a book, and who borrowed one of yours. The pad is for quick things, such as the page you have reached, or which books are due back at the library. Whatever you write stays on the pad until you clear it, so your page number is there when you pick the book up again. A book tip you heard on the radio can go on the pad first, and if you like it, onto paper later.
Write with a pen, clear with a button
Write on the LCD pad with a pen and the line shows straight away. Press the button to clear it, and the pad is blank again. Whatever you clear is gone, so always put important things on paper.
The journal is roughly the size of a school exercise book, so it fits in a handbag for the trip to the library or a book club. As a gift, we suggest it for someone who reads a lot and likes to note down favourite lines.
