Sound and character
The large, bass jaw harp produces a deep, full, rich vibration – a quite different world from the standard size. The 13 cm body yields a lower fundamental that creates a vibration you feel in the chest. The series of overtones is rich and sustained, making it especially suited to meditation, trance states or deep ritual use.
How to use
Place the jaw harp gently in front of your lips with your tongue. Shape the sound by changing the oral cavity, moving the tongue, and breathing in and out. The larger size needs more air and more room around the mouth, so it is best approached after the standard size. Designed strictly for adult use.
Why this product
If you already know the jaw harp world and crave the deep bass register – or if you want to bring a bass drone into sound circles or ceremonies – this large jaw harp is exactly what you need. Fine handwork delivers a clear, even tone, and the pouch protects it on the road.
Care tips
- Relax your jaw before playing – the bass size needs a larger resonating space.
- Don't bite the metal – teeth can be damaged.
- Take care: the metal is sharp and pointed – risk of injury to mouth and fingers.
- After use, wipe with a dry cloth and store in the pouch.
