Why the bamboo-free stick is special
Inside a traditional incense stick there is a thin bamboo rod, which adds a slight smoky side-note when burning. Japanese bamboo-free sticks omit this — so you can sense the original fragrance of the raw material more cleanly, in this case fine vanilla. This solution is particularly pleasant for those who are sensitive to a smoky side-note.
The soft, homely mood of vanilla fragrance
Vanilla is one of the most frequently loved fragrances because it creates a sweet, warm, homely feeling — yet NOT intrusive, NOT sugary. You will sense a pleasant, slightly creamy base note that provides an ideal background for evening rest, reading or bathing. Many of our customers report that vanilla fragrance is linked in them to warm childhood memories.
How you can use it in daily life
The vanilla-scented stick is perfect for evening rest, bathing, scenting before welcoming guests, and even as a companion to yoga or slow breathing exercises. In the morning we rather recommend refreshing fragrances — vanilla is best for an evening, calming mood. If you like to sit down with a book and a tea in the evening, vanilla will be a fine companion.
How to use it correctly
Light the thinner end of the stick, wait a few seconds, then blow out the flame. The stick will then smoulder slowly and gently release the vanilla fragrance. Place it on a stable holder with a glass or metal tray, because ash may fall. One stick will give a pleasant fragrance for about 25 to 30 minutes.
Safety and storage
Place the holder on a stable, non-flammable surface, and keep a distance from curtains and paper. Never leave a burning stick unattended, and keep it away from children and pets. Store the box in a dry place away from direct sunlight, so the vanilla fragrance stays soft and fresh for many months.
