What makes the 34 cm Ishana special
The 34 cm Ishana belongs to the larger sizes, where a deeper base tone and longer resonance become natural. The larger internal volume produces a fuller sound, and the thick wall gives a slow, gradual fade. The black and gold finish appears with a unique drawing on every piece.
Playing it at home
Place it on a soft cushion or a wooden stand and gently tap the side with the included wooden striker. A single slow, firm motion gives a full hum. Tracing the rim in a circular pattern produces a continuous, higher vibration. After a few minutes of practice you will discover how much force suits your hand.
When to use it
Many owners play it during daily quiet moments, others to accompany meditation or breathing practice. Its tone also works as background sound while reading, and it makes a decorative piece for guests. You can leave it on your shelf, as the hand-painted surface is a visual piece on its own.
Material and manufacture
The bowl is made of metal alloy and comes from a manufacturer in India. The black base and gold pattern are applied by hand, so every piece is unique. The thick wall produces a stable tone and, with careful handling, keeps the original resonance for many years.
Care and storage
Use a dry or slightly damp soft cloth for cleaning and avoid abrasive products. Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity, so the surface of your piece keeps its shine. For longer storage, wrap in a soft cloth.
