Sandalwood's warm, creamy, woody scent is a cornerstone of the Eastern incense and perfume tradition. It is hand-rolled to an Indian masala recipe, with a soft, lasting smoke.
The sandalwood scent
Sandalwood is known as the classic scent of meditation and quiet; tradition names it a support of focus and inner peace. Its smoke is softly lasting and deeply calming.
Masala incense
Masala incense is not a single essential oil but a hand-kneaded blend of spices, resins and botanicals. This is what gives its smoke a full, layered and slowly unfolding character.
How to use
Place the stick in a heat-resistant incense holder, light the tip, then gently blow out the flame so it begins to smoulder. Always burn under supervision in a well-ventilated room, and keep away from children and flammable materials. It is about 22 cm long.
