Myrrh's deep, resinous, balsamic scent is one of the oldest and most prized incense materials. It is hand-rolled to an Indian masala recipe, with a full, slowly unfolding smoke.
The myrrh scent
Myrrh is the fragrant resin of a tree, prized as incense for thousands of years across many cultures. Its warm, faintly sweet, deep smoke creates a solemn, contemplative mood.
Masala incense
Masala incense is not a single essential oil but a hand-kneaded blend of spices, resins and botanicals. This is what gives its smoke a full, layered and slowly unfolding character.
How to use
Place the stick in a heat-resistant incense holder, light the tip, then gently blow out the flame so it begins to smoulder. Always burn under supervision in a well-ventilated room, and keep away from children and flammable materials. It is about 22 cm long.
