The Meditation Blend for Stillness
Meditation is the calm, deep trio of frankincense, myrrh and benzoin, whose slow, soft smoke makes it a companion for turning inward. Tradition regards it as a classic scent for stillness and focused presence.
Composition
Frankincense (boswellia papyrifera), myrrh (commiphora myrrha) and benzoin (styrax benzoin).
How to Use
The resin is traditionally burned by sprinkling it onto glowing charcoal or an incense sieve; on a sieve the embers release the scent more slowly and gently. A few grains are plenty for one session. Use it in a well-ventilated room on a heatproof surface.
Good to Know
This is a natural resin, so the size, colour and shade of the grains may vary a little from piece to piece — the mark of a real, unprocessed material. Keep it well sealed in a cool, dry place and it will last a long time.
