Incense Sticks – Marco Polo's Treasures: Olibanum (Ethiopia)

Olibanum (Ethiopia) incense sticks from the Marco Polo's Treasures line: handmade sticks made to an Indian masala recipe, with Ecocert certification, about 22.7

Handmade incense sticks from the Marco Polo's Treasures line, in the spirit of olibanum (ethiopia) – a fresh, citrus-resinous smoke for meditation, for tuning a space, or for a calm moment.

Olibanum (Ethiopia)

Olibanum, commonly known as frankincense, is the resin of Boswellia trees; the Ethiopian variety is known for a fresh, bright, citrus-resinous character and is one of the most classic ceremonial scents. Olibanum (frankincense) gives a fresh, resinous, lightly citrus smoke. The calming mood attached to it is a traditional idea, not a medical effect.

Craft and use

The sticks are hand-rolled to an Indian masala recipe and carry Ecocert certification; they are about 22.7 cm long.

Safety and use

Place the stick in a suitable holder on a heat-resistant, stable surface, light the end, then blow out the flame so the ember smoulders. Never leave it burning unattended; ventilate the room and keep it away from flammable objects and children.
