Incense Sticks – Marco Polo's Treasures: Olibanum (Arabia)

Olibanum (Arabia) incense sticks from the Marco Polo's Treasures line: handmade sticks made to an Indian masala recipe, with Ecocert certification, about 22.7 c

Handmade incense sticks from the Marco Polo's Treasures line, in the spirit of olibanum (arabia) – a deep, warm, balsamic smoke for meditation, for tuning a space, or for a calm moment.

Olibanum (Arabia)

Arabian olibanum (frankincense) is also the resin of Boswellia trees, but warmer, deeper and more balsamic than the Ethiopian variety; it was among the most prized goods of the ancient caravan routes of the Arabian Peninsula. Arabian frankincense releases a deep, warm, balsamic-resinous smoke. The calming mood attached to it is a traditional idea, not a medical effect.

Craft and use

The sticks are hand-rolled to an Indian masala recipe and carry Ecocert certification; they are about 22.7 cm long.

Safety and use

Place the stick in a suitable holder on a heat-resistant, stable surface, light the end, then blow out the flame so the ember smoulders. Never leave it burning unattended; ventilate the room and keep it away from flammable objects and children.
