Siam Benzoin
Benzoin is the balsamic resin of Styrax trees; the Siam variety is known for an especially warm, vanilla-sweet character and is a classic base note of the perfume tradition. Benzoin releases a warm, sweet-vanilla, balsamic smoke. The calming mood attached to it is a traditional idea, not a medical effect.
Craft and use
The sticks are hand-rolled to an Indian masala recipe and carry Ecocert certification; they are about 22.7 cm long.
Safety and use
Place the stick in a suitable holder on a heat-resistant, stable surface, light the end, then blow out the flame so the ember smoulders. Never leave it burning unattended; ventilate the room and keep it away from flammable objects and children.
