Jasmine is the scent that truly opens toward evening – full, sweet and a little intoxicating.
The scent of jasmine
The scent of jasmine is sweet, full and heady – one of the most intense and sensual of floral scents. An evening character that unfolds warmly and richly. The masala base softens the smoke, so the jasmine stays full but never oppressive. In many Eastern traditions it is the scent of the evening garden and of celebration.
When to reach for it
It is a wonderful companion for an intimate evening, relaxing, or creating a warm, festive mood. The sweet floral scent comes through best in a living room or bedroom.
Use and finish
A hand-rolled, traditional Indian masala stick, roughly 23 cm long, in a decorative hexagonal gift pack. Place it in a stable, non-flammable incense holder, light the tip, then blow out the flame so the ember glows on. Never leave burning incense unattended, and ventilate the room while it burns.
One lit stick, and the room fills with a warm, floral evening mood.
