A selected, natural resin incense for charcoal and incense sieves, with a slowly unfolding, warm smoke. A clean material for lovers of traditional incense.
The Warm, Creamy Scent of Sandalwood
Sandalwood's fragrant, warm, creamy-woody aroma has been a staple of Eastern incense tradition for millennia. A soft, deepening character that tradition holds as a support for focus and inner peace.
Composition
Sandalwood (pterocarpus soyauxii – west africa).
How to Use
The resin is traditionally burned by sprinkling it onto glowing charcoal or an incense sieve; on a sieve the embers release the scent more slowly and gently. A few grains are plenty for one session. Use it in a well-ventilated room on a heatproof surface.
Good to Know
This is a natural resin, so the size, colour and shade of the grains may vary a little from piece to piece — the mark of a real, unprocessed material. Keep it well sealed in a cool, dry place and it will last a long time.
