The name Dragon's Blood is as memorable as its scent – deep, red and resinously warm.
The scent of Dragon's Blood
"Dragon's Blood" is a deep-red, natural plant resin used for incense since ancient times. Its scent is warm, resinous and balsamic, with a deep character many find reminiscent of frankincense. The masala base gives the smoke body. By tradition Dragon's Blood is the resin of protection and strength, long associated with cleansing a space.
When to reach for it
It is a wonderful companion for an intimate evening, meditation or creating a strong, protective mood. The deep, resinous scent comes through best in a living room or meditation corner.
Use and finish
A hand-rolled, traditional Indian masala stick, roughly 23 cm long, in a decorative hexagonal gift pack. Place it in a stable, non-flammable incense holder, light the tip, then blow out the flame so the ember glows on. Never leave burning incense unattended, and ventilate the room while it burns.
One lit stick, and the room fills with deep, resinous warmth – a quiet, powerful presence.
