This leaf-shaped metal incense holder is decorated with the figure of Ganesha and brought to life by a colourful, mosaic-like inlay. Its long, leaf-shaped tray catches the falling ash, so thinner incense sticks can be burned safely on it. It is about 22 cm long.
Ganesha, the remover of obstacles
Ganesha is one of the best-known, elephant-headed deities of Hinduism, honoured as the remover of obstacles and the patron of new beginnings. His figure is a favourite ornament in a home meditation corner. Because of their handcrafted character the colours of the mosaic-like inlay may vary slightly from piece to piece, so each holder is a little unique.
Use and care
Place the burning incense on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from children and pets, and clear of flammable objects and draughts. After use, let it cool completely, then wipe it with a soft cloth.
