This clean incense holder works with both stick and cone incense, and its small size fits almost anywhere: the corner of a desk, a meditation nook or the edge of a shelf. It is made of mango wood and set with polished rose quartz.
Namaste and rose quartz
"Namaste" is a Sanskrit greeting meaning "the divine in me greets the divine in you." It is accompanied by bringing the palms together before the heart (anjali mudra) and a slight bow of the head, expressing respect, appreciation and mutual equality. The rose quartz set into it is a stone of love and tenderness, linked in tradition to the heart chakra.
Use and care
It suits thinner sticks – such as bamboo-stick or Japanese incense – and incense cones; always burn the glowing tip and the cone on a heat-resistant, stable surface in a draught-free spot, and never leave it unattended. The falling ash gathers easily on the holder. The wooden surface can be cared for with a dry cloth. It measures about 10 × 1 cm; as the rose quartz is a natural mineral, its shade varies slightly from piece to piece.
