An incense burner in a gift box — who it is for
Many of our customers look for a gift that does not end up in a drawer. This acacia wood incense burner, engraved with the seven chakra symbols, fits the bill: it arrives in a gift box, so even during unwrapping it is clear this was a thoughtful choice. If you are looking for a starter piece for a relative or friend who is beginning meditation, this is an excellent point of entry.
What this wooden piece can do for you
It serves two purposes at once: an incense holder and a storage box. The top has two holes for incense sticks, and you can place cone incense on the flat surface. The sliding inner compartment stores unused sticks — so everything stays in one place and you do not have to rummage through drawers. The 31 × 5.5 × 6 cm size is generous enough even for longer (up to 30 cm) sticks.
The meaning of the seven chakra symbols
According to Hindu and yogic traditions, the chakras are energy points along the body — seven main centres are recognised, from the root to the crown. All seven are hand-engraved on the surface of the box. You do not need to interpret them spiritually: many people simply see them as a beautiful, harmonious motif that pairs elegantly with the natural colour of the wood.
How to use it safely
Place the holder on a flat, heat-resistant surface — a tray, a ceramic tile or glass. Do not put fabric or paper under the burner. Let the ash cool down after use and then wipe it off with a soft cloth. Keep the sticks in the built-in storage so they do not snap inside a drawer.
Long-term use and care
Acacia is a hardwood that handles years of use well — even so, keep it away from moisture and strong sunlight. A dry or barely damp soft cloth is enough for cleaning. If a little soot appears near the carvings, that is natural and easily brushed off with a soft brush.
