Vivid colours, deep resonance
This 40-centimetre hybrid instrument radiates a festive mood in every detail. The vibrant turquoise titanium-steel playing surface paired with a deep red birchwood base brings visual joy while delivering a warm, full resonance. For you this is a piece that can be the attention-catching centre of the living room and a daily source of joyful music alike.
Fifteen notes in C-major
The notes of the C-major scale, from E3 up to F5, are arranged as E3, F3, G3, A3, B3, C4, D4, E4, F4, G4, A4, B4, C5, D5, E5. C-major is the most natural and cheerful of scales, regarded by many as the voice of light, clarity and childlike joy. Thanks to the standard 440 Hz tuning, you may easily accompany other instruments or sing along with it.
Ready for the stage
The built-in piezo-electric pickup lets you connect the instrument to an amplifier and apply effects. This is especially useful for stage performance or for filling a larger room during sound-healing sessions. The removable wooden element at the base lets you control how pronounced the overtones become.
A detailed package
The box equips you with everything needed to begin: the instrument itself at about 35.5 centimetres in diameter, a padded carrying bag for safe transport, a pair of mallets for striking the notes, tuning stickers for easy orientation, an instruction booklet and a rattan-weave drum surround. This complete set means you do not need to obtain anything separately.
The message of the Heart Sutra
The playing surface is adorned with a stylised excerpt from the Heart Sutra. This Buddhist teaching speaks of emptiness and the interconnectedness of all that exists, and traditionally uses sound as its example. For you every strike is a small encounter with this deep wisdom, voiced through the bright tones of C-major.
