The stability of the rectangular shape
This hand-polished Himalayan salt stone has a rectangular shape, so it sits stably on a shelf, a windowsill or the edge of a chest — also as a decoration. We recommend it to customers who would like an easy-to-hold piece for body scrubbing, massage or simply a beautiful natural object for their home.
Pakistani salt crystal
The salt comes from the area of the Khewra mine in Pakistan, where natural mineral formed over millions of years. Himalayan salt contains more than 80 natural minerals, which give the characteristic pink-rust shade — slightly different on every piece.
Size and weight
One piece weighs around 200–250 g. Since every stone is hand-polished, the proportions may differ slightly from the photo. The rectangular shape also means that the stone will not roll off the shelf or the edge of the bathtub.
Tips for use at home
For body scrubbing, lightly wet the stone and gently rub the thicker skin of your elbows, knees or heels with circular motions. You can also drop it into a warm bath: it slowly dissolves and gently enriches the bathwater with minerals. After a stressful day, you can smooth the cool surface over your shoulders or the back of your neck.
Storage and cleaning
Always wipe it dry after use and keep it in an airy, dry place, because salt crystal does not like prolonged moisture. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. If you would like to display it as a decoration, it looks most beautiful placed in a ceramic or wooden bowl.
The rectangular salt stone looks especially beautiful if you place several pieces side by side in a low bowl. You can compose a small decorative arrangement on the bathroom shelf or windowsill, and the natural colour palette brings warmth to the space.
