The angel shape is a beloved variant of the classic salt lamp: the curved wings cast a warm play of light on the surrounding wall. A Himalayan salt lamp is a unique home light: the glow does not shine directly into the eye but is gently filtered through the natural salt crystal, casting a warm, orange-pink glow on the room. Where the salt crystal comes from
The salt is sourced in northern Pakistan, around the Khewra mine, where layers more than 250 million years old are extracted. The raw blocks are sorted and processed, then hand-shaped for your lamp and mounted on an acacia wood base. If the lamp surface becomes slightly moist, switch it on: its own warmth will dry it again. Before moving it, stick small felt pads to the base to prevent scratches on furniture. For replacement bulbs choose an E14 type up to 15 W.
