A rounded drop form
This salt lamp does not follow the irregular shape left by nature — Pakistani stone carvers have hand-polished it into a rounded drop form. The softer outline is less pronounced and gives a more modern feel, so it looks particularly well on a tidy desk, an entrance chest or a bedside table. You receive a more elegant yet still naturally characterful salt lamp.
Size and weight
The lamp is 13 cm wide, 13 cm deep and 18 cm tall, weighing around 2.3 kg. This smaller size is practical for any place where space is tight but you still want a defining light source. The dark acacia wood base holds the vertically elongated drop shape and will not tip over if you accidentally tug the cable.
LED bulb and operation
In the box you find an E14 LED bulb that runs for up to ten thousand hours at low consumption. The lamp comes with a cable with switch, so you do not need any extra installation — simply plug it into the socket and operate it with the inline switch. The LED illuminates the drop shape with a cooler, whiter glow.
Light and atmosphere
The rounded form spreads light more evenly than the irregular version. The flowing amber glow radiates from a single point in all directions, so it serves equally well in a reading corner, a living room used for evening television or for meditation. The light does not disturb, does not sting your eyes, and you will not tire of its subtle warmth for days.
Small reminders
The drop form is slimmer, so its base is also smaller than the classic version — do not place it where there is heavy movement and it could be knocked over often. Keep it in a dry place, do not put it on a windowsill during humid periods. When moving, wrap the lamp or its base in paper, as the slimmer shape is more sensitive to impacts. Sticking felt pads to the base protects your furniture.
