The benefits of a larger salt lamp
This version is a step larger than the standard 16 cm bedside salt lamp, so its glow reaches further across the room. If you are looking for a single defining light source in a larger living room or bedroom, this 22-24 cm size is already enough to create atmosphere from the walls to the ceiling. You receive a moderately impressive decorative object that remains present in the space even after dark.
Natural form, acacia wood base
The surface of the salt crystal is only roughly polished so that its naturally rugged character is preserved. The darker acacia wood base creates a nice contrast with the pink and orange stone and steadily supports the nearly 4.5 kg piece. The Pakistani stone carvers inspect every lamp individually, so a stable, well-finished example reaches you.
LED bulb: economical and long-lasting
In the box you find an E14 LED bulb that uses around a tenth of the energy of a traditional bulb and often lasts many times longer. If you want to leave the lamp on for hours in the evening, the LED version serves you more economically. The light is a touch cooler and whiter, and we particularly recommend it to those who prefer a cleaner, more modern glow.
Air, calm and sleep
Many of our customers tell us they fall asleep more calmly next to the lamp and feel the heating-dry air less. As the crystal warms up, it releases negative ions, binds tiny dust particles and reduces the effect of electrosmog. Placed in the bedroom, it provides a gentle moist feeling all night long, which is especially helpful in the winter heating season.
What to watch out for at first use
Unpack the lamp carefully, as it is heavier than it looks. Place it on a firm, level surface — we recommend sticking felt pads to the base to protect your furniture. In the first few hours you may notice a characteristic natural mineral scent, which is completely normal and fades within a few days. Keep it away from cold and damp walls, the bathroom and kitchen steam.
